Helions Bumpstead Cricket Club is a very
friendly club which welcomes players of all age's and ability. We run four teams in the summer season, the "select" XI which
is the Saturday league playing senior side, the midweek league senior side, the Sunday friendly XI which is often
a mixture of seniors and juniors! and the junior side which is open for boys and girls aged 13 or under. In the
winter we also have two indoor cricket sides, which are six a-side each, the 1st team and the reserve team.
Our club is set in the lovely peaceful
village of Helions Bumpstead. The ground is surrounded by trees, and fields giving an idyllic setting for a friendly game
of cricket (and a few beers) in the summer. We have a modern club house built a few years back now, which we are proud to
call "HOME" our club house has a licensed bar and after the game we also serve light snacks such as hot dogs and chips for
players and guest who are always welcome to come and watch while sinking some beers before leaving for home.
