Our Mission
This
year all our teams goals are to put up a challenge fight for the league titles which at the moment is looking like a a good
target as we are looking good in the saturday league. We also have a secondary goal as a whole club, which is to bring in new members
and push the older juniors through the ranks!
When and where?
We play our home games on the recreation groud or as we know it in the club as ''THE SHED'' in
Helions Bumpstead, which is behind the Village Hall. We only play up at ''THE SHED'' on Saturdays as we are not alowed to
play on the ground on a Sunday Due to rule made by the church which entitles us to play on a Saturday only. all league
games on a Saturday start at 14.00
A quick breif then!
Our weekend Saturday team plays in
the 3A Cambs league regrettably after being relegated last season. We do hope with the strong team we have that this year
we will be able to bounce back into 2A for the 2008 season.
Sundays our side does not play
in a league, we play friendly games with other local Sunday cricket teams, which means it is not taken seriously and it is
more of a game to introduce the youngsters into the adult game
Mid-week our team challenges for
the title of the Adams Harrison mid-week league cup in 20-20 format games, this year we hope to put up a better fight after
nearly being relegated last year.
